For more than three decades, I have built and scaled technology-enabled consumer businesses, led billion-dollar operating divisions, advised CEOs and boards, and served as a director of public and private companies. My experience spans premium brands, software, digital platforms, e-commerce, media, and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on helping organizations translate customer insight, innovation, and strategy into sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

My career began during the formative years of the digital economy when I joined iVillage, one of the earliest internet companies and the pioneering online community for women. There, I helped support the company's international expansion and developed a lasting fascination with how technology can transform customer experiences, create new business models, and connect people in meaningful ways.

Over the following decades, I held leadership roles across technology, media, and consumer businesses, including responsibility for a $1B global consumer platform at Shutterfly and a $1B+ e-commerce and services business at Staples serving more than 30 million customers across more than 1,000 locations. Earlier in my career, I studied accounting and law at the University of New South Wales, earned an MBA from The Wharton School, and worked in strategy consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton.

“The most rewarding work of my career has been helping companies translate customer insight, innovation, and technology into sustainable growth, long-term value creation, and outcomes that benefit both business and society.”

Across these roles, a consistent theme emerged: businesses create the greatest value when they deeply understand their customers and combine that understanding with innovation, strong execution, and thoughtful leadership. Whether launching new products, entering new markets, building digital platforms, or creating new customer experiences, I have been drawn to opportunities where growth and transformation intersect.

Alongside my business career, wine and hospitality have remained a lifelong passion. Working in restaurants helped support my education and sparked a fascination with wine that ultimately led me to become a Master of Wine—the highest and most demanding qualification in the global wine industry. During this period, I also founded a wine import and e-commerce business, introducing leading Australian wines to consumers in the United States and gaining firsthand entrepreneurial experience building technology solutions, brands, partnerships, and customer relationships.

“I am particularly interested in how technology, proprietary data, and customer insight can be used to improve business performance and customer experience.”

Today, I bring this combination of governance, operating leadership, technology, premium brands, and customer-centric growth to my board work. I currently serve as a Non-Executive Director of Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. and Claranova, bringing experience in governance, CEO succession, strategic growth, capital allocation, and innovation across global businesses.

Most recently, I co-founded Thirsty Logic, an AI-enabled software and data company built around proprietary expert data spanning beverage styles, food-and-drink pairings, and hospitality decision-making. Combining structured expert knowledge, recommendation algorithms, and machine learning, the platform helps restaurants and other venues improve customer experiences and increase sales. At its core, Thirsty Logic reflects a broader opportunity I find compelling: using technology to make expertise more accessible, scalable, and valuable.

“The most powerful businesses don't replace expertise with technology—they use technology to make expertise more accessible.”
